Competition Terms
These rules apply to every MDLBEAST Radio competition, however you come across it: on air, on mdlbeastradio.com, on listen.mdlbeastradio.com, or on our social channels. Each competition also has its own details: how to enter, when it opens and closes, and what you can win. Those are that competition’s own terms, and where the two differ, the competition’s own terms win.
We can change either at any time, so check this page before you enter. Entering means you have read, understood and accepted these rules.
Who is running it
MDLBEAST LLC is a company registered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with its registered office at 2311, East 17 Dhahrat Al Awudah District, Postal Code 13732, Diriyah. In these rules, “MDLBEAST Radio”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company.
Unless a competition says otherwise, the organizer is MDLBEAST LLC or one of its affiliated companies. If another party is announcing it, “we” and “us” mean both MDLBEAST LLC and that party.
For anything to do with our competitions, email [email protected] with the competition name and what your question or complaint is about.
Who can enter
You must be 18 or over and resident in Saudi Arabia, unless that competition’s own terms say otherwise. Each competition states its own age limits, and some carry extra requirements, for example a valid passport, residency visa, driving license or proof of physical fitness. Whether you meet those requirements is our decision, and we can ask for proof before awarding a prize.
MDLBEAST employees and their second-degree family members, meaning siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and those of similar kinship, cannot enter. Neither can employees of third-party prize providers, or their second-degree family members.
Anyone under 18 needs their parent or legal guardian’s consent, and we may ask for proof of it. The parent or guardian represents the minor in anything the minor cannot legally do, and must sign any waiver before entry. Without that, we can disqualify the entry, or withdraw the prize if the guardian later withdraws their consent. We are not obliged to accept an entry from, or hand a prize to, a minor without the documents that prove who represents them.
Entering
Enter the way the competition tells you to. Your entry counts when it reaches us, not when it leaves your phone, so send it to the right account with the exact keyword or answer format the competition asks for. Anything that arrives before the competition opens or after it closes does not count.
Your network may charge you for a message, a call or the data you use. Rates are set by your provider, not by us, so check with them, and if you are not the person paying the bill, ask them first. Unsuccessful entries can still cost you.
Enter under your legal name. One entry per person unless that competition says otherwise. No entering as a syndicate, group or company, and no entering on someone else’s behalf. Automated entry software, and anything else that lets one person enter over and over, is not allowed.
We can reject an entry that is unreadable, incomplete, damaged or otherwise invalid, and any entry that is illegal, inappropriate, racist, inflammatory or defamatory, or that we believe damages our reputation and our brand. We are not responsible for entries that are late, lost or sent to the wrong place, including anything we never receive because of a technical fault or network congestion.
If we find out later that someone broke these rules, we can disqualify them and ask for the prize back, even if it has already been handed over.
Prizes
We can replace any prize with one we consider to be of broadly equivalent value, or with a cash amount, and the prize must be accepted as presented. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged, and there is no cash alternative unless we decide otherwise.
Winners are notified by phone, in writing, or however that competition says. A winner has one month from the day we first make contact to respond. After that we may award the prize to another entrant, and an unclaimed prize is forfeited. Prizes are delivered the way and to the place that competition sets out. We are not responsible for a prize that is lost, damaged or delayed for reasons outside our control.
We can ask a winner to prove their identity, age and address. If they cannot, we can withdraw the prize and pick someone else. If you want someone else to collect on your behalf, we will need the legal documents for that, and any paperwork we ask for signed. Where a winner is under 18, these terms and that competition’s terms must be signed by their parent or legal guardian before the prize is awarded, and we may hand the prize to the guardian instead.
If a prize includes tickets, an event, a trip or anything else tied to a date, it has to be taken on the dates set out in that competition’s terms. Any part not taken is forfeited.
Unless we say otherwise, a prize covers only what is described. It does not include getting there and back, and where accommodation is included it covers the basic cost only.
Winners are responsible for any taxes due on a prize, and should take their own financial advice if that matters to them, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We make no promise or warranty about any prize, and as far as the law allows we accept no liability to entrants for a prize or for whether it suits its purpose. We are not responsible for prize values going up or down. Cash prizes are paid by check or bank transfer in the winner’s name, and anything else is at our discretion.
We can disqualify an entrant, or refuse to hand over a prize, if someone behaves in a way that is unsafe, illegal, antisocial or inappropriate.
Winners on air
If you win, we may say your first name and your city on air and on our channels. Tell us when you claim if you would rather we did not.
Your personal data
What we do with an entry is covered by our Privacy Notice, including how long we keep entries and winner records.
If it goes wrong
We accept no responsibility for damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by anyone entering a competition or accepting a prize.
We are not responsible for technical problems: phone networks and lines, online systems, servers, providers, equipment, software, or any email or entry that does not reach us because of a technical fault or traffic online, including any damage to your computer or phone connected with taking part.
We are not responsible for anything entrants do that puts their own safety, or anyone else’s, at risk while taking part.
Our decision
Our decision on anything to do with a competition is final, and we do not enter into correspondence about it.
Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.
