Terms of Use

These terms cover mdlbeastradio.com and listen.mdlbeastradio.com, our live stream, and the home screen app. Using any of them means you accept them.

If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Nothing here affects rights you have under Saudi law that cannot be signed away.

1. Who we are

MDLBEAST Radio is a music discovery radio station broadcasting in Saudi Arabia, on air in Riyadh on 104.8 FM, Jeddah on 98.1 FM, the Eastern Province on 97.4 FM and Asir on 87.6 FM, and streaming at mdlbeastradio.com and listen.mdlbeastradio.com. It is operated by MDLBEAST LLC, registered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, registered office 2311, East 17 Dhahrat Al Awudah District, Postal Code 13732, Diriyah.

These terms come with four others, and together they are the deal between us:

3. The stream

The stream is free and for your personal listening. You may listen anywhere you like, at home, at work, in the car, on your phone.

You may not record, copy, rebroadcast, redistribute or charge anyone for our stream, put it inside another app or player, or play it as the soundtrack of a commercial space without our written permission. Licensing for public play is a separate conversation, and we are happy to have it: write to [email protected].

The music we play belongs to the artists and rights holders who made it. Listening does not give you any rights in it.

4. When the site or the stream is not there

We aim to be on all day, every day, and we usually are. But we cannot promise it. The site and the stream can go down for maintenance, for a technical failure, or for something outside our control. We are not liable to you if they do.

We can also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice, and we can block access for anyone who abuses it.

5. Using the site

Use the site lawfully and reasonably. Do not:

  • break any law, or help anyone else to;
  • try to break into the site, its servers or anyone’s account, or probe them for weaknesses;
  • send anything designed to damage the site or the people using it, including viruses and malicious code;
  • scrape, harvest or copy the site in bulk, by hand or with software;
  • use automated entries, bots or scripts in a competition;
  • pretend to be someone else, or pretend to speak for MDLBEAST Radio;
  • use the site or our name to advertise anything without our permission.

6. What you send us

We ask people to send us music, and we mean it. Here is what happens when you do.

When you send us a track, a mix, a voice note, a dedication, a photo or anything else, through a form, on WhatsApp, by email or on our socials:

  • You confirm it is yours, or that you have permission from everyone who owns a piece of it, including anyone who performed on it or wrote it.
  • You give us permission to play it on air and on the stream, and to use it to promote the station and the show it appeared on, across our website, our app and our social channels. This permission is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty free, and it lasts for as long as we keep the recording. You keep ownership of your work.
  • We are not obliged to play anything, and we cannot always tell you why.
  • We do not return material, and we do not pay for submissions unless we have agreed something separately in writing.
  • Voice notes, requests and dedications may go out on air. If you send one, expect that it might.
  • We hear a great deal of music. If we make or play something similar without using your submission, that is not a breach of anything.

Our House Rules cover what is not welcome. If you want something you sent taken off air, write to [email protected] and we will deal with it.

7. Competitions

Everything we run has rules, and they are in our Competition Terms. Each competition also carries its own details, and where the two differ, the competition’s own details win.

8. Our content

The MDLBEAST Radio name, the logo, the brand marks, the artwork, the written content, the shows and the audio belong to MDLBEAST LLC or to the people who licensed them to us.

You are welcome to read, listen and share links to anything on the site. You may not copy it, republish it, put it in a database or archive, or use any of it commercially without our written permission.

9. Links and other people’s content

The site links to and embeds other services: Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Apple Music, Anghami, WhatsApp and others. Those are their platforms. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, we do not control what appears there, and a link is not an endorsement.

The forms on our contact page run on forms.mdlbeastradio.com, which is operated for us by Base44. What you type into one of those forms reaches us, and is covered by our Privacy Notice.

10. The home screen app

You can add MDLBEAST Radio to your home screen. It is the same website in a window of its own, not a separate app from a store, and these terms cover it.

It stores a small set of files on your device so it can open quickly. It holds no personal data. Remove it the way you remove any app and those files go with it.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Notice, and what we store on your device is in our Cookies Notice. Both form part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. The date at the bottom says when we last did. Using the site after a change means you accept it, so it is worth a look now and then.

13. Liability

The site and the stream are provided as they are. We do not promise they will always be available, accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by using the site or the stream, or by being unable to use them, including lost data, lost profit or lost opportunity. We are not liable for anything on a third party service we link to or embed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of Saudi Arabia.

14. General

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute goes to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
